Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Playlistferry. By using the service you agree to these Terms.

Playlistferry is an independent, open-source hobby project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify, Apple, SoundCloud, or any other third party.

Playlistferry helps you sync playlist metadata between connected music providers (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud). The service stores playlist metadata and the minimal tokens required to access provider APIs in order to perform syncs.

• You are responsible for using the service in compliance with these Terms and with any third‑party provider terms (e.g., Spotify, Apple).
• Do not use Playlistferry for unlawful activities, abuse, scraping, or to violate provider policies.
• You must provide accurate information and keep account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, update credentials and revoke provider access where applicable.

Accounts are required to use some features. We store the minimum OAuth tokens required to call provider APIs. When you unlink a provider or delete your account, all related data (playlist metadata, tokens, logs) is deleted immediately and irreversibly. Deletions are also removed from backups.

Deleting your account via "Sign in with Apple" or any other provider unlink also results in immediate and permanent deletion of your Playlistferry data and account.

Abuse of the system (fraud, spam, excessive or automated scraping, violating provider terms, or other misuse) may result in immediate account termination and revoked access. The developer may block or ban accounts at their discretion for violations.

Playlistferry integrates with third‑party services (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud) to provide functionality. Use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. When you connect a provider, that provider may see API requests originating from our servers tied to your account.

Playlistferry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The developer is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited.

The developer may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for any reason, including suspected abuse or violation of these Terms. Termination does not affect obligations or rights incurred prior to termination.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
